He sat down watching the animals parade by in twos
Was that the norm, or a weird situation?
They walked past side by side, everyone had their kind
It didn’t feel strange that he was all there was for his kind
But the Father of light, full of love and compassion
Examined the situation and made a conclusion
And for the first time, something was declared not good
So the creator of all creations calmed the man to sleep, yes, he was resting in peace, yet alive in HIM
Out came a rib while man rested peacefully
Moments later, a surprise party was planned
‘What is this gift that you bring?’ The man wasn’t really expecting anything
Suddenly, the drums rolled and a soft tune played in the background
From the beautiful ray of light beaming from the father,
Came walking this magnificent being, ‘What in Heaven is this?’
The expression of delight on the face of the Father,
‘We got it right!’ Trinity could not agree less
For this creation was an expression of a dimension of the Father,
Hidden until that moment
So Man exclaimed ‘WOW! A SPECIAL KIND OF MAN!’
the ‘Bones of my bones, the flesh of my flesh’
All this while, I have walked alone
Now I have another to call my own
‘What would he call her, what would he name her?’
Nature stood still awaiting a revelation
One word gave this being a definition
‘Woman!’ And every living thing erupted in praise
‘Once again, We did it, we have yet given meaning to life’
Said, the Father, the Son and the Spirit to one another, all at once
Now, they were two, but one
They’re one made up of two
They’re the same yet different
They are different yet the same
The wisdom of God once again displayed
Hallowed be thy name
This gift revealed found meaning in the ONE who wove her very being
Her features, her specifications, her details were carefully selected,
She was a different kind of man
So she says to her significant other, the one who she’s ‘ONE’ with forever
‘Call me by name, for a name is an identity,
An identity is a definition, bearing the reason for existence
Help me fulfill my assignment and carry out my duties
Teach me to play my role, to be a help meet for you
Don’t leave me broken, leave me whole
For you would one day give account for my soul
Show me the path of growth, teach me to give God control
To function outside God’s design is to malfunction
Since you called me a woman,
Let me be the creation designed to nurture and provide comfort
Let me be the help you need
Let me act the script written of me,
Let me be who God designed me to be
Let me fulfill what is written in the book of me’
