Do you remember David’s mother in Land of Fury?
Yes! Her son played a role in this movie. Mummy Gbadebo (David’s Mother in Land of Fury) also played a role in the coming movie. If you don’t know the movie we’re talking about, click Here Today, Joshua Gbadebo, shares his experience with us.
Good day sir, please tell us about you and what you do
I’m Gbadebo Joshua Ayooluwa, a lover of God and a drama minister. I love acting, writing and directing stage plays.
I hail from Kogi state and I reside in Kebbi State. I attend Eternal Redemption Mission, where I am also the drama coordinator and also the State ANCEDRAM Vice Chairman.
I am the acting State YOWICAN Drama chairman of Kebbi zone.
I work at the Federal Medical Center as a data analyst.
You’re a drama minister, tell us about your drama journey.
I must say it’s been a sweet ride so far but like we all know, there will always be hurdles. But God made a way around them.
I started as a member, before God placed me at the fore front.
I could remember when I started acting. I was given a role to eat food that had been poisoned. I ate the food, stood up and went out, forgetting I was supposed to fall.
Drama ministers improve daily. You can’t rely on past achievements. I must say it’s been awesome learning daily.
My journey so far has been great in God. To be precise, drama is just laying its strong foundation in Kebbi. God helped me bring drama ministers together from different denominations to achieve a drama festival, though it was not easy.
But God has his own way of making things beautiful and He did and the program was a success.
What was your reaction to mummy’s role in Land of Fury?
It was awesome, I was happy. Kebbi was remembered and the movie made the whole country have a burden to pray against the vices of the enemy.
I can count a thousand testimonies that was experienced on the set while shooting the movie. I must say God really showed up and gave victory to us. It was indeed a mind blowing experience.
Mummy’s actions on set was like seeing a dream. I never knew she had it in her. I could remember when I had to help her do some rehearsals and I gave her some tips on how to go about it.
God brought it to her door step to glorify himself.
Were you expecting to be given a role in the new movie?
No not really, but I knew I still had a lot to learn and skills to develop. I saw it has an eye opener and a sweet experience not to forget.
What was your experience on set?
The creativity and gestures were just to awesome, words will fail me but I must say it was a wonderful experience.
It was wonderful, we bless God. I was able to yield myself as a vessel to be used in his vineyard and God took control.
Balancing work and location together at the same time was not an easy task but God provided the strength to do it.
It was easy by his grace and I was able to take up my lines and do my best and God is building me to do his work.
If you have the opportunity, would you do this again?
Yes I will gladly be honored to do more of it again.
What should viewers/readers expect from this movie?
I must say from this movie expect great things.
I see that God can use anyone to do his work irrespective of what one has passed through.
It’s going to be mind blowing and awesome experience it’s going to be a beautiful blast.
What is the future of the drama ministry in the land of Kebbi?
We are moving forward, we are going places and we are unstoppable. We are ready to take over for Christ.
Kebbi will produce great drama ministers that will impact the state, country and world at large, doing the kingdom mandate.
